Koppert Spical Ulti-Mite Sachet

Description

Scientific name: Neoseiulus californicus
Common name: Predatory mite
Best used: as a preventative in sub-optimal environmental conditions (grow rooms), as they are water and climate resistant.
Works by: breeder sachet slowly releasing californicus over a few weeks time. The adults, nymphs, and larvae will actively search for their prey and consume them. Do not open sachets upon arrival, as they already come with a pin sized hole for the predatory mites to walk out of.
Pack size: 1 sachet. Each sachet contains 100 predatory mites and supplemental food mixed with bran.
Targeted pests:
• Broad mite
• Spider mite
• False spider mites
• European red mite
• Hemp russet mite
Directions for use:
Application:
• Hang sachets in sheltered locations in the crop, not exposed to direct sunlight
• Sachets already have an exit hole
• Hold sachets by the cardboard strip at the top, to avoid damaging the predatory mites
Dosage:
• The dosage of Spical Ulti-Mite depends on climate, crop and pest density and should always be adjusted to the particular situation.
• Start introduction preventively or as soon as the first pest mites are detected in the crop.
• Use at least 4,000 sachets per ha and hang them evenly spaced in the crop.
• Release should be repeated after 4-6 weeks if the pest is not controlled.
Suggested application rate:
2.5-1/m2 if plants touch or 1/plant if plants do not touch. This will also depend on pest pressure and crop type.
Application Frequency:
To prevent or eradicate a pest infestation, most of our biological pest control products need to be placed out either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly
Storage:
In the dark at 12-14C for 1-2 days after receipt if needed. Make sure to provide ventilation to prevent CO2 accumulation.
